Last week was more of the same, so good overall.
Weekly Weigh-In
The Numbers
On July 3rd, 2017:
- I weighed 279.2 pounds
- My body fat was 36.3%
- That means 101.3 pounds of me is fat
In the last week:
- I’ve lost 5 pounds
- I’ve lost 3.2 pounds of fat
Since I’ve started:
- I’ve lost 26.2 pounds
- I’ve lost 16.8 pounds of fat
The Awesome Thing I Did
Freakin’ 5k, Man
Okay, so Mrs. Gryphon signed us up for the annual 4th of July 5k. You know what I said?
I said, “Um… Yeah, okay. We can, um… yeah.”
Then I got good and pumped. Yes, I haven’t completed my 5k training yet, but I can run a 5k, right? Right?
Yeah, okay.
I mean, YEAH!
So I put on my running outfit…
And I ran!
And I kept running until I finished!
Then I turned around and walked back to meet Mrs. Gryphon who was pushing Baby Boy Gryphon in the stroller and walking.
I was tired, but had fun.
The Outfit
Okay, I have to brag about my outfit. It was obnoxious, but people cheered my outfit on, and that helped me keep going. I actually made my outfit. Sewed it all up from a fabric so obnoxious that I’ve been trying to find a reason to use some for over six months. The shirt was covered in foil stars and dots. I was like a disco ball, man!
Moving Forward
Next week is more of the same. But now I know I can run a 5k, which is amazing!
